Simple knot (Four in Hand)
This tie knot originates from the coachmen of the 18th century. To protect themselves from the weather when it rained, they had to tie their neckerchiefs with one hand as they held four horses in the other.
The narrow and slim shape of the knot makes it particularly suitable for sporty, casual clothing. The knot is ideal for beginners and suits almost all tie types. Only very wide collars are not ideal for this knot.

Simple knot
If you didn't like the first version of the simple knot, here's another way. It's a different way of tying the tie, but the knot at the end remains the same. This makes it ideal for casual outfits.

Windsor knot
This knot is characterized by its conical shape and larger volume. Although it is widely used, it is also a little more complicated to tie. The Windsor knot is well suited to thin or narrow ties as it creates a voluminous knot.
